Phillip – over the rail

Warehouse loading docks. Concrete stairways. Metal railings. To the untrained eye,
these are ugly industrial elements, better off overlooked. But to this group of Goleta boys,
these things are like an empty lineup on a head high day.

Phillip – 180

Always on the lookout for the next “secret spot”, Micaiah Furukawa, Eric Anderson, Phillip
Freegard and their friends spend a lot of time in the nooks and crannies of Goleta. Places
you probably don’t even notice.

The cost

So when surfers are moaning and groaning about flat surf, these guys always have

don’t land in water.

Eric – off the wall

A lot of these moves translate well into the water, others are just
impossible. Either way, surfers who skate definitely have more options
available, and they’re changing the way we look at riding a board.
