Los Gringos de Goleta
Descansar. To rest.
Sometimes, you just need to get away. Even when you live in paradise.
Goleta Surfing did just that; we took a little vacation down to mainland Mexico with some amigos in search of surf and sun.
Here are some photos.
We were on beaches the whole trip. Some crowded, some empty; but all had lots of sand and warm water, two things Goleta is lacking.
We surfed everyday, even though the surf was small. It still was fun and the water was the perfect temperature.
The locals were eager to take us out on their boats to private surf spots and to nearby islands to go snorkeling and exploring.
After every adventure came time for unas cervesas y comida.
Tuna, salsa, lime, avos and>torts served up on a surfboard.

This guy shreds, but I failed to get any pictures of him surfing.

As always, Mexico is like our home away from home.
The people, the weather and the food is the best, and the ocean makes you want to stay forever.
