Winter Sun
Thirty nine degrees at dawn. The ocean feels like a warm bath compared to the air. By nine
o’clock, we’re in t-shirts, basking in the winter sun, stoked and surprised by the size of the sets
rolling through Coal Oil Point. Pretty much a one day swell, with long lulls, glassy sets and
minimal crowd. And lots of warm winter sunshine.
